2006.02.24 — Reynolds Lectures at Cornell University
Medway, Mass., February 24, 2006 – John Reynolds, president of Integrated Architectures, lectured today at Cornell University as part of the Sustainable Development seminar series in the Department of Biological and Environmental Engineering. The Sustainable Development seminars encourages a "framework for ensuring long-term planetary habitability", by considering "multiple economic sectors, environmental topics, geographic regions, cultural frameworks, and political and social systems."
Mr. Reynolds remarks spoke on a vision for a hemispheric, network of sustainable, open, community broadband networks. Though the talk touched a bit on the combination of technologies that are making this network happen, its main focus was on the business model and the commercial and political techniques that make such a network sustainable.
